Ahmed's musical project reflects his life and artistic journey from Baghdad to Toronto.  They showcase melodies from Iraq, blended with Jazz, African grooves, and the distinctive sound of the "Moneka Family style."

Ahmed's identity features the Sumerian letter M of "Moneka" with a subtle twist on the left area that references a retro microphone.  

To respond to the seasonal nature of Canada, we created two colour schemes: one inspired by fall/winter and the other by spring/summer. 
The system is inspired by the Iraqi architectural style that features geometric patterns and fractals. To convey that feeling, we created a set of compositions using isometric views of the instruments that shape Ahmed's distinctive sound.​​​​​​​
